Term:             Initially 6 months Fixed Term Contract, (subject to further funding)
Job Title:                    Part Time (variable) Finance and Admin Officer
Salary:                   £8.40per hour
Work hours:       Part-time or full-time options (negotiable); minimum of 16 hours per week


The worker will be based in Melin Advice Centre, 80 Briton Ferry Road, Neath SA11 1AP

Information on MCC and the post

The Melincryddan Community Conference (MCC) is a community based, volunteer led organisation that seeks to engage with projects to regenerate the area. The MCC works in partnership with other organisations and runs projects to help the community by means of paid staff and volunteers.

The successful candidates will be required:

To support the Melincryddan Community Conference board with regards to finance and general administration, with the vision to expand projects and seek new opportunities.

The post requires:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSE’s at A-C grade including English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • The ability to run a busy office and must have a good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
  • The ability to seek opportunities for development of the charity and the advertised job
